Here are the FAQS. No Opinions.
Q: Are my award redemptions totally free?
There are a few unavoidable fees. These usually come in the form of government-imposed taxes and fees and airport improvement fees. However, carrier surcharges can be avoided.
These fees tend to total only a couple of hundred dollars per ticket. We ensure your award redemptions are lower than its cash fare equivalent through us.
Q: What classes of service can be booked with miles and points?
Economy to first class can be booked. The higher the class you book, the more you get from your points, as the underlying dollar cost is much higher.
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Interac e-transfer. Stripe is our primary payment processor. All prices are in Canadian dollars and may be subjected to tax.
Q: If you are credit card consultants, are you also financial advisors?
No, we are not claiming nor have ever claimed we are financial advisors. We only advise on how credit cards can fulfill your travel dreams through points redemption and perks. You decide to apply for a card based on your socio-economic situation.
Q: When am I charged?
Credit card consultations are charged immediately, and refunds are only allowed for those who cancel before the meeting. We charge you once we book your trip for anything travel redemption-related. If you cancel your actual trip booking for whatever reason, we will refund you the original form of payment.
Q: How long in advance should I contact you to book a trip?
Rule of thumb - book it when you have a travel idea! The earlier you are in your planning to cheaper and more available choices you have than on a last-minute flight.
While you can book last minute, expect some wonky flight routes as the direct or one stops can be pricey and not so “value friendly.” Book an appointment with Tristan to get you started!
Q: What is a “complex round-the-world” trip?
Think of the modern version of around the world in 80 days (more likely less). A complex round-the-world trip is a trip that takes full advantage of all stopovers, layovers, and generous routing rules that frequent flying programs can offer. Think of it as a cheese platter or charcuterie board, and you are sampling various business classes in a specific alliance while making stops all across the globe.
How fun is that?!
Q: How does your Buy 3 Get 1 Free Award Redemption Work?
For any three award redemption tickets you book from us, the fourth one is one us for equal value or less. If you bought two Economy/Premium Economy redemptions and want to book the Business/First class for your freebie, a $50 credit will be applied, and you pay the difference between the two offerings.
Q: What is your refund policy?
Refunds are only provided to Award Redemption services. Credit Card consults are all final sales.
In order to be eligible for a refund, you have to cancel the award booking within 30 calendar days of your purchase. The award booking must match the same name and booking confirmation number that was booked originally.
After we receive your item, our team of professionals will inspect it and process your refund. The money will be refunded to the original payment method you used during the purchase. For credit card payments it may take 5 to 10 business days for a refund to show up on your credit card statement.
If anything is unclear or you have more questions feel free to contact our team.
